Kinderspiel - A German speaking group in Dorset / Hants

Welcome to Kinderspiel, a German-speaking group for children and adults in East Dorset/Hants.

We offer a variety of activities at different venues across the Bournemouth/Poole/Ringwood area including:

· a parent/toddler group
· a German songs and rhymes group for children up to age 5 with their parent/s
· a children's club from school age
· children's Sunday school at the German church
· pub nights/cafe meetings
· walks with buggies

Many of us are native German speakers but we are keen to welcome all those interested in the German language and culture, regardless of their level of proficiency. We are pleased to have parents from all four corners of the globe amongst us, hailing from countries as diverse as England, France, Siberia and even Chile!

The aim of our website is to provide helpful contacts to those interested in the German language and culture and also to pass on tips for newcomers to the area or to the UK. We also feature information about cultural events, festivals and multilingualism and have special pages dedicated to popular recipes.
