MARINE'S FRENCH YOGURT CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE ICING (Louise)

Ingredients


1 pot of natural yogurt
(the empty yogurt pot is now used to measure the other ingredients)
2 pots of self raising flour
2 pots of sugar
½ pot sunflower oil
3 eggs
dash of vanilla extract

100g chocolate
2-3 tablespoons of crème fraîche


· Turn the oven on to 180°C.

· Put the yogurt into a bowl.

· Add the sugar & mix.

· Beat the 3 eggs, add to mixture & mix.

· Sieve the flour, add & mix.

· Add the oil and mix.

· Add the extract of vanilla & mix.

· Pour into a greased, lined baking tin and bake for about 30-40 mins. Remove from oven & leave to cool.

· Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of boiling water.

· Once melted, add the crème fraîche and mix well.

· Brush the icing over the cake & chill in the fridge before serving.
